Are you a specialist psychologist with extensive experience in conducting assessments and evaluations? Then we believe this shared position at the psychiatric outpatient clinics in Vetlanda and Nässjö could be a perfect fit for you.

The Role as a Psychologist

We currently have a need to conduct psychological assessments to a greater extent at our clinics and are therefore seeking a psychologist with a mandate to work specifically on this in close collaboration with the rest of the team.

As a psychologist with us, you will receive a permanent full-time position (100%), which will be distributed with 50% service for the Nässjö clinic and 50% for the Vetlanda clinic. The role includes a special focus on assessment work, primarily in-depth psychological assessments and neuropsychiatric assessments. There is an opportunity to work partly remotely if the operations allow and if it is desirable from your side. We can also be flexible regarding the location of your workplace (Vetlanda or Nässjö). Supervision of PTP psychologists (psychologists in training) may also become relevant in the future. Working hours are during the day, weekdays, with a start date after agreement.

Your Future Workplace

At the Psychiatric Clinic Höglandet, we are approximately 190 employees. Partly at the Psychiatry House in Eksjö, which includes an outpatient clinic, referral and assessment unit, emergency clinic, and 24 care beds distributed across two care wards. Additionally, the clinic has outpatient clinics in Eksjö, Nässjö, Tranås, and Vetlanda. The clinic's resources are allocated to take into account both the clinic perspective and county-wide psychiatric care processes. We contribute to the development and implementation of common care programs and psychiatric care processes in the region.

At the Psychiatric Clinic Höglandet, we are currently working towards LGBTQI certification for all units.

At the Outpatient Clinics in Vetlanda and Nässjö, there are many different professions, including senior physicians, psychologists, social workers, specialist nurses, nurses, occupational therapists, care assistants, healthcare administrators, and PEER support. We have around 1,200 patients at each unit. We value teamwork and collaboration between professions for the best interest of the patients.

Your Profile

We are looking for a licensed psychologist with specialist education who wishes to develop together with us at our well-functioning clinics in Vetlanda and Nässjö.

We believe you are an empathetic and secure person who takes initiative and has the courage to act in the patient's best interest. You are structured and have good problem-solving analytical skills. Furthermore, you are clear in your communication with patients and colleagues. Since your workdays will vary, it is important that you can easily adapt to changing circumstances. Collaboration will be an important part of your work with us, so it is of great importance that you are a good team player. Finally, we believe you are a person who wants to develop in your profession and contribute to the continued development of our clinic.
